RELATIONSHIP COACHING

INTIMATE, AUTHENTIC, FULFILLING RELATIONSHIPS

Wild River offers personal, effective 1-1 coaching to help you transform the relationships in your life.

This is for all relationships - friendships, family, romantic, dating, professional, and community ties.

This is for you if:

  • You can’t seem to connect as deeply as you want with others, even people that you care about. You know, deep inside, that there is more for you out of life, especially in your relationships, but you don’t know how to get there. You wonder if what you want exists or is attainable for you.

  • When you get overwhelmed, you either shut down, freeze, or get snippy. You wish you could better express yourself and communicate what you need.

  • You tend to either isolate yourself or go along with what everyone else wants, and then feel drained or resentful later.

  • You don’t let others deeply see you or feel that there aren’t people who can meet you in your depths.

  • You avoid confrontation and want to seem easy. This works for a bit, but it ends in either you feeling frustrated or, later, overreacting to somewhat small issues.

  • You overthink or get stuck in perfectionism. You find yourself replaying conversations and wondering if you said the right thing. You can go back and forth a lot before making decisions, or second-guess after you've made them.

  • You get told, or feel internally, that you are too emotional, sensitive, or need too much, OR are constantly told how easy you are and you don’t know how to take up space.

  • You care a lot about personal growth, spirituality, and how you show up in your life. Despite doing the work, the same patterns keep repeating themselves. You want connections that match the growth you’ve done internally, and crave relationships that feel soul-nourishing and aligned.

Where you want to go:

  • Feel emotionally close, relaxed, understood, and safe being yourself in your relationships.

  • Remain clear-headed during conflict and communicate what you need in a calm, grounded, and effective manner.

  • Deeply know yourself, your needs, and what you most want, and understand what steps help you get these things.

  • Experience more magic, joy, and fulfillment in all areas of your life.

  • Trust yourself to choose partners, friends, and community who align with your values, needs, and emotional availability.

  • Feel confident in your decisions.

  • Be embraced, rather than just tolerated, for who you are and all that you offer.

  • Resolve and correct the underlying patterns that you haven’t yet been able to shake.

  • Cultivate reciprocal, honest, and nourishing relationships

  • Feel filled up, rather than depleted, after connection and socializing.

  • Enjoy profound self-acceptance and self-love.

  • Trust your intuition and connect with your body.

  • Deep feelers, deep thinkers.

  • Spiritually inclined and devoted to their personal growth.

  • High performing, intelligent, and capable.

  • Highly value authenticity, personal responsibility, and depth

  • Tendency to overthink, overfunction, and overgive.

  • Ready to set down the roles of caretaker, performer, or people pleaser

Who I support:

Work With Me

  • 1-hour Zoom sessions with Sam, held weekly or bi-weekly based on your preference.

  • This is ongoing support, designed to be flexible and tailored to your needs. While results occur immediately, I ask all new clients to commit to at least 8 sessions to allow time for measurable progress. Most clients choose to work with me for 12-18 months or longer. You are welcome to continue for as long as it feels productive and aligned, and you can stop at any time.

  • Sessions are conversational but structured. I’ll guide us through reflection, embodiment, or emotional work based on what’s coming up for you. Every session ends with integration steps or reflection prompts to continue the momentum.

  • Our work together draws from my full toolkit, including coaching, somatic practices to foster mind-body connection, Human Design for self-understanding, and energy healing for nervous system regulation, allowing us to customize the approach for your unique journey.

  • See below for a note on mental health credentials.

NEXT STEP: Book a free consultation call so we can connect, discuss your needs, and see if this work is a fit for you. This will be a no-pressure conversation to get to know each other and explore how we can work together.

HOW IS WILD RIVER DIFFERENT?

Mind-Body Connection and Somatic Processing

Strengthening the mind-body connection is one of the most effective ways to build confidence, self-understanding, and the ability to regulate. However, many therapeutic and coaching models overlook it. Not only does this connection help you in your day-to-day, it also facilitates profound healing. You will keep repeating the same patterns and feeling stuck in the same fears until you heal the wounds that created them. One of the most effective ways to heal those wounds is through somatic processing (the use of mind-body techniques to process difficult experiences). Wild River teaches you to tap into the wisdom of your body to create lasting change.

Inner Child Work, Parts Work, and Guided Emotional Inquiry

Wild River utilizes several methods to help you explore your inner landscape, especially the younger parts of you that formed core beliefs and coping strategies. Through inner child work and parts work, we identify the origins of your emotional patterns, bring awareness and compassion to previously unmet needs, and create space for new responses. These practices help you understand, contextualize, and regulate your emotions, which is essential to cultivating fulfilling and healthy relationships.

Intuition and Spiritual Reflection

You are a spiritually curious person, so your support should make space for that curiosity. Wild River believes that your intuition is valuable, and your Soul is wildly intelligent–both should be listened to! This method also explores spiritual truths, including the importance of prioritizing love and compassion, connecting with nature, and trusting your path.

Wild River Method

The Wild River method focuses on five key components to developing intimate, authentic, and fulfilling relationships:

  1. Self-Awareness: Identifying and understanding your needs, desires, boundaries, triggers, and patterns.

  2. Emotional Intelligence: See below.

  3. Healing and Repatterning: Gently addressing the unresolved wounds and formative experiences that shaped your current relational patterns.

  4. Communication: Grounded, effective, and honest communication of needs, boundaries, and desires, including during conflict.

  5. Emotional Regulation: Managing and processing emotions, especially challenging emotions, in real time.

Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence is an essential skill for intimate, authentic, and fulfilling relationships. However, most adults today were never taught that skill. A key component of Wild River coaching is building your emotional intelligence, which includes the ability to recognize an emotion, understand the context around it, label it, express it appropriately, and regulate it. While many coaching models focus solely on mindset or communication tips, Wild River goes deeper by helping you work with the root emotional patterns that drive your reactions.

Bridge Spiritual Inquiry with Practicality

Though Wild River centers spirituality as a key tool in personal development, this work is equally pragmatic. Being able to connect with your intuition, feel Spirit, and read energy will help you feel at home in this world. But relationships take more than good energy and prayer. We blend the mystical with the practical to provide grounded tools, approaches, and practices that actually help you in the day-to-day, especially with those in your life who have different spiritual inclinations.

APPROACH TO HEALING & EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Before focusing on relationship coaching, I offered coaching on emotional health and spiritual healing. In doing that work, I developed a healing model that facilitates an emotionally healthy, fulfilling, and vibrant life. In the video below, I describe this approach.

Even though I now focus on relationship coaching, the principles in this video are the same. In relationship coaching, we work on many of these things to enable better communication, intimacy, authenticity, and emotional intelligence.

Watch this video to get a better sense of my approach to coaching and personal development.

  • Authenticity and Self-Trust: You stop overfunctioning, people-pleasing, or trying to be “good enough” to be loved. You trust yourself. You express who you really are, which gives you more purpose and confidence.

  • Attract Better Relationships: You stop settling for connections that drain, confuse, or diminish you. As your self-worth and clarity grow, so does your discernment. You begin to attract and build relationships that are rooted in mutual respect, emotional safety, inspiration, and soul-level compatibility, whether romantic, platonic, or professional.

  • Deepened Spiritual Connection: Continuous spiritual exploration in our work together allows for a richer, more meaningful connection to yourself and the greater universe. I help you define what spirituality means to you and how you want to connect with it.

  • Practical Tools for Life: You’ll gain actionable strategies and practical tools for managing stress, relationships, and challenges that arise, creating a foundation for lifelong growth.

  • Safe Space for Reflection: Ongoing support provides a consistent, safe space where you can reflect on your experiences, feel heard, and receive guidance without judgment.

This extended journey facilitates a more profound and lasting transformation than ad hoc sessions can allow, helping you to embody the changes you seek and fully experience life as authentic, vibrant and purposeful.

This work is only really effective when you are ready to grow and evolve in your life. You don’t have to know how it is going to work, how to make the changes, or how it will look, but you do need to be ready and desiring of the change. If you are, book a consultation call and we can explore if ongoing support is a good fit for you.

Coaching offers a sustained, transformative experience that allows for deeper healing, growth, and integration over time. Here are some of the key benefits and outcomes you can expect:

  • Fulfillment in Relationships: You begin to experience relationships that feel mutual, safe, and deeply satisfying. Whether romantic, platonic, familial, or professional, you show up more honestly and invite others to do the same.

  • Intimacy and Visibility: You let yourself be seen without shame or over-explaining. You learn to express your truth clearly and receive others with curiosity and compassion, creating real closeness.

  • Happier and More Supported: You stop doubting your needs or feeling like they’re “too much.” You learn to identify, advocate for, and hold boundaries around what matters most, without guilt or shutdown, and as a result, get what you actually want.

  • Emotional Intelligence & Regulation: You get better at recognizing your emotions, naming them, and staying grounded through difficult moments. You don’t spiral or shut down like you used to. Your nervous system becomes your ally.

  • Breaking Old Patterns: You unravel outdated dynamics. You learn your patterns, explore where they came from, and change them. This lets you live with more choice, rather than reacting from an emotional place.

  • Stronger Boundaries: Coaching allows you to practice and refine boundary-setting in real-time, making them more effective and easier to maintain. This is a key skill that most people need support in developing.

A NOTE ON MENTAL HEALTH CREDENTIALS

This work is not a substitute for therapy. I am not a mental health practitioner.

I encourage everyone to explore working with a therapist at some point in their life. Therapists can be phenomenal resources, and at times, necessary solutions. Nearly all Wild River coaching clients have worked with a licensed therapist at some point. My work can be a great complement to therapy, or something clients explore after completing a therapeutic relationship. Wild River coaching is a way to build on skills learned in therapy or other personal development spaces, address lingering patterns and wounds, explore spiritual dimensions, strengthen the mind-body relationship and intuition, and bring in a greater emphasis on the Soul and Spirit.

Wild River coaching does not offer mental health treatment. While I am skilled at working with people navigating emotional pain, I work with those who feel emotionally resourced in their day-to-day lives. If you're currently in a mental health crisis, navigating acute trauma, addiction, or symptoms of serious mental illness, I strongly encourage seeking the support of a licensed therapist or clinical team.
